Aderinsola Fagbure
Aderinsola Fagbure is a corporate lawyer with special interest in corporate governance. She is the Principal Partner of In Black and White LP, a law firm which specializes in providing legal advice to startups. She is a doctoral candidate at Igbinedion University Okada where she obtained her first degree.
She has a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from University College London. She is a member of the African Society of Crowdfunding. Her column” in black and white “which is published in Thisday Law discusses innovations in corporate governance and finance.
She is passionate about entrepreneurs and writes regularly on legal structures for SMEs through her brand “in black and white”. She has spoken at various fora and business summits on the importance of a legal structure towards ensuring business perpetuity.
She was in the Corporate and Commercial Department of Esher & Makarios and Olisa Agbakoba Legal where she worked as a Senior Associate and Associate respectively. She was on secondment at the law firm of Stephenson Harwood LLP while at Olisa Agbakoba Legal.
She is a member of the International Bar Association where she serves as the Young Lawyers’ Committee Liason Officer for the Africa Regional Forum. An active bar member, she served as a two-time Chairman of the Young Lawyers’ Forum of the NBA Lagos Branch.
She is a prolific speaker and writer having facilitated and spoken at various trainings including a UNICEF training on the implementation of the Child Rights’ Act, The Lagos State Government Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, The Nigerian Bar Association- Section on Business Law, the Ooni of Ife Global Outreach, to name a few.
